Fantastic overview and tool for development of leadership skills.

Concise

This is a book that is going to be a defining milestone for decades. There is not everything there you need to know about leadership, but there if you were to build a basis of you your leadership know-how this book is essential piece without which you are on the wrong tract.Now, the presentation is little too enthusiastic for an European mind - (sorry for the expression, if feel like an american marketing at some points). I am still convinced that the points made are profound and true - just the presentation should be toned down a little to make it more believable. Now it seems that the authors are sounding their own trumpet too much. For example at many places the arguments based on statistical evaluation are geared toward "validity" of the results. However, as the data are from the same dataset collected from the same people - it is to be expected that they are congruent to some extend, so their high correlation factors are more about internal consistence of the tool described than necessarily proving its validity. And yet I thing if an independent study done on a different sample not tainted by many "halo" effects as in the book we would obtain good confirmations as well.So my argument is not with the content, but with little too much self-promoting attitude that made the authors oversee some circularity in their arguments.
