This is a great set of mics...
Very much worth the investment if you can. I have a big kit so I bought this set for my toms, snare and the overheads. D2s on rack toms, D4 on floor tom, D6 on other floor tom, i5 on snare and use the condensers as overheads. I think they sound great out of the box...no EQ needed for my setup...but I am also not a recording engineer or anything. The D-Vice clips are pretty good for rim-mounted clamps and provide a good range of mounting options, plus the mics are relatively small so they are not completely in the way. If you've never miced a kit before it also comes with a DVD that's like 20 mins and explains the basic concepts behind mic'ing a full kit which I thought was pretty cool to include and it does have a few really good tips.

Highly recommended
This is an AWESOME mic set. It's has pretty much everything you need for a recording a 5 piece drumset. The only other mic you might want is a hihat mic. Audix mics have built in EQs that are great for drums. When I first started recording I really wanted a neutral response but comparing lot of mics I found that the built in EQ is generally a great thing. I would recommend saving your money and buying this mic set over some entry level stuff. You will never need to replace these mics with something better.-The i5 is my favorite snare mic - much better than an SM57-The d2's are great for rack toms - also much better for this application than an SM57. These also work for floor toms but not as well at the d4. If you want a big low ballad or 80's snare drum sound this is also a decent mic for that.-The d4 is great for floor toms and other mid to low sounds like the LP Stanon Moore Pandeiro. d4's also work well for rack toms but give a drier dark sound because they cut out a lot of high over tones.-The d6 is a great kick mic. It works well for drums from 18" up to 24". With bass drums bigger than that it still sounds good but it doesn't do justice to the low end of the drum. For really big drums I like to blend the d6 with a Shure Beta 91a. The d6 is superior to a Shure Beta 52a.-The adx51 51's are good overheads. I also use them to mic hihats. The case is nice. This is generally a better deal than buying all the mics alone and at the very least you get all the mounting hardware for free.

Best mic drum kit for the price range.
After several weeks of research, for my taste, this is the best drum mic kit in the price range. Much much warmer and crisp sound. I also added another ADX51 because I use 3 (hit hats and two OH), and another D2 for a 3th tom. If I have to buy another mic drum set, it will be the same for sure.

Buzzes and vendor scams customers for a restocking fee.
Got the mics. They were giving a buzz sound constantly. Tried different cables and made sure the issue was with mics. Returned mics. Vendor charged a restocking fee for returning defective product. Amazon did not help. Not a good product or experience.
