Motif Descriptions:

Only blue and white colour combination represents 14th century craftsmanship. Embossed surface of the plate is one of the most ingenious techniques of art. The rim, round frame on the edge, symbolizes the eternity. The pomegranates covering the well, the bottom floor of the plate, are to glorify the fruitfulness of the Earth.

Classification matters for antiquity:

Naturally and uniquely, handmade and hand-painted tile plates have differentiations from the intended design. Differentiations are unnoticeable to nonexperts and only matters for collectable purposes.

For a tile plate with antique value, it is better to have fewer differentiations, which is why tile plates are classified accordingly: 1-2 differentiation as Endangered, 3-4 differentiation as Vulnerable and 5-6 differentiation as Near Threatened.

All of classes can be defined as top-quality since two or three can be achieved per a hundred tries of an experienced crafter.
