Update : the Batterys that came with it lasted for 4 1/2 months t I would have been gotten these door alarms way sooner if I knew that They were this Loud. easy to just stick them to the door frame. Good and loud. getting a couple more for my windows.

Alarm does not have continuous ring after door closes leaving the possibility that a child opens the door and exits closing the door thus turning the alarm off. This would allow child to be outside without an ongoing signal that the child opened and closed the sliding door near a pool. If an adult did not hear a continuous alarm signal, there is the possibility of an adult not knowing a child has exited and is now outside near the pool.

I like the idea of these alarms, we put one on our sliding door. It only works sometimes and sometimes doesn’t make any noise at all. Not reliable.

Easy to install. We needed to know when our child wasn’t sleeping and getting out of bed at night. Just knowing it’s there has stopped the “leaving her room for no reason” since she knows we will hear it go off even if we are sleeping. We live in a two story house so we weren’t waking up when she was getting up.

We have an escape artist so we decided it was time to take action. My first choice was a door alarm and started browsing, this unit caught my eye and the choice was perfect! Easy to install, settings are great and perfect for keeping our little granddaughter safe inside at mom's so close to a busy road. Thank you so much!
