Good product, not so good customer service
Shock was awesome for a while. It's developed a knock/sticky spot st the top of the stroke which is really annoying. Contacted Sram/rockshox. They said it's a possible warranty issue, but the don't do consumer direct. I would have to go through an authorized dealer. Contacted the seller of this item to see if they could help facilitate the warranty claim. No response from them. So while it's a great shock, customer service from the seller seems non existent. Just hope you don't have any issues with the product I guess?

Perfect bolt-on solution for 2014 Specialized Stumpjumper Elite
This really worked out perfectly. My Fox with brain failed for the second time and with 2 day shipping I had this one quick. And the price was awesome. It bolted right onto the bike and was easy to setup with the auto-sag. I re-used the old pin and washers on the front side. I pressed the old pin into the new shock with a bench vise. I greased it up and used the two old washers (see picture). I fastened the front using the old screw and that side was done. The back side looked just like my old shock. I re-used the old wishbone and old screw. I used their supplied spacer because the old screw was a little too long for the new shock. I pumped it up to 275 psi, sat on the bike and pressed the auto-sag button (short "pshh" sound, then it sank a little). Set rebound to the middle and damping wide open. Went for ride on very steep, hilly, rocky and rutty terrain (kettle moraine glacial formations). The shock worked great. I'm so glad that Rockshox had this product available. They designed it directly for Stumpjumpers. You will need a shock pump so make sure you have one handy. It included a 50 hour rebuild kit. I'm very happy with this. Hope this review helps someone. My weight is about 215-220 with gear and water. So this shock can handle some weight.
