I'm slender, 5'6 and 117 pounds, but I've had two kids so I don't have a flat stomach anymore and I have butt cellulite, the latter being what I bought these for. I didn't want the dimples in my behind showing through my satin skirt or a pair of trousers I have. I will say that once on, these made everything look smooth and what I was hoping for. But they don't stay in place AT ALL, and in fact, created rolls I don't have, like a big muffin top below my 28 inch waist. And hip dips. The worst part was the bulge they created on my right butt cheek when they rode up. I went to the bathroom to pull them back down but as soon as I sat down, there went that right side again. I felt so self conscious. I actually think my body would have looked better without the Spanx. A little cellulite is preferable over a muffin top and a right butt cheek with a big old crater that wasn't there before. Unfortunately I can't send these back because I wore them. You really cannot tell what a pair of Spanx is going to do until you walk around in them for a few hours unfortunately. I'm back to searching for something else I can wear under my clothes to smooth my butt and based on the reviews I'm seeing, I'm not finding anything that doesn't create rolls, show through clothes, or cause misery, etc.

The fabric feels strange like paper. It even sounds like paper when you put it on. It stretches into this weird magical, stretchy material by or beware, it does roll down, and I sized up for reference. I'm 5 foot 2 I have a long torso. My weight is 168, my waist size is 35 inches and i purchased the large. The fit was good, yet it still managed to roll down very annoying.

I love the color. The only thing I wish it had, to keep the top from rolling down and to stay in place. They are comfortable but if you have a bit of a gut, it will roll down and not stay in place.

At first I thought they wouldn’t be comfortable because they gave me the impression of leaning towards shapewear, but I was pleasantly surprised. They’re so comfortable you can wear them everyday. Very high quality.

I have been looking for a supportive panel for some time and was recommended to try these, so in my excitement I bought 2 pairs. What torture! I suggest sizing down at least one size otherwise the back area stretches out within minutes and due to a lack of any real elastic around the legs causes loose hanging fabric which will instantly plant itself directly in your crack where it will happily stay forever, no matter how many times you try to remove it. Most expensive wedgie I ever bought and honestly it was impressive how determined it was.On a side note, not being deterred by my first bad decision, I thought I would try a smaller size thinking if the stretch were due to being overfilled with cheeks rather than just weak elastic, maybe they would stay in place .. sizing down did help with the wedgie issue, however that doesn’t help me with the $50 wasted on buying 2 pairs I refuse to wear.
