LS2 Helmets Copter Open Face Helmet (Matte Black - 2X-Large)

I like the patriotic color scheme, since I am a Vietnam vet. The helmet is comfortable and not too heavy. The internal sun shield is easy to use and works smoothly. I loved my helmet like this, so I bought one for my girkfriend.

The media could not be loaded.  I love how they fit your head firmly and comfortable and the optional sun shade that you can pull over your eyes. You’ll love these helmets!

I really like this helmet, good ventilation and relatively light. I typically wear a large, but the 2XL fit perfectly. Luckily, I had read a few other reviews that said the same.

I have a couple of full face, but wanted a three quarter helmet for riding my cruiser. A word of advice-buy at least one size bigger than you think you will need. That's why I bought two- the first one was a little snug, but I kept it anyway. I like the style and faceshield.

According to the size chart I should wear a S, but decuded to go with M. Good decision it turned out. Weight is light and vision is very good. No wind noise and air flow very good. I wear glasses so the channels are important and in the right place for comfort. I can sat honestly I am more than pleased with this helmet. Well worth the money and then some.

After getting the size I ordered on the second try...the size I ordered fit well. If anything I would suggest going up a size from what you think you need.Otherwise it seems well made and fit and finish is acceptable.

I really like the helmet but the fit is just terrible. The stitching on the liner is thicker than the foam and rubs on my forehead. The fit is good, the liner is just terrible with thick seams that are sewn together. After some research I found out that LS1 uses the same helmet for extra small, small and medium helmets, they just put a different liner in it for each size. If you wear a Medium helmet like I do the liner is paper thin with thickly sewn seams that bulge out well past the foam. It's like having a thick shoelace constantly grinding against my forehead. I ended up cutting the seams out of the liner and taped the foam padding together.As for the venting, the vents on top don't seem to do much of anything. I can ride at highway speeds with the vents open and not notice much of anything. My Bell helmet on the other hand has air flowing all through the vents. This could be a good thing though, the helmet is fairly quiet with very little wind noise. The shield fogs up pretty easily but there's a detent just before it's all the way down so you can open the shield just enough to get some airflow.Do Not buy if you wear a Medium helmet.

I have a problem wearing full faced helmets. This was a good compromise. Very cool form and fits nice around the face. I love the added shade guard feature from the sun very cool!
