Wild Gorse Pet Shampoo, 8 FZ

This is a great shampoo--I just love it! It smells wonderful and lasts forever. We go about 1 month between baths, and my pup smells good the whole time. If she gets wet, the shampoo scent just comes out, and not wet dog ;) I chose this scent because I love lavender but also for it's calming effect, which definitely works. My pup is much calmer during her baths, and I also like that it is a shampoo and conditioner--makes bath time go that much faster, especially with a pup who hates baths. It leaves her skin moisturized and her coat soft and shiny. A little goes a long way, but when we finally need more I'll be back!

I just received the Highlands Snowdrop shampoo for my Cocker Spaniel who has developed skin allergies, hotspots and is generally miserable. The shampoo lathered up nice, and seemed to glide over her skin. She sat there so calmly and let me massage her from head to toe, and then I rinsed her really well. After she dried she smelled so good, and her fur felt like silk, but the good thing is, she wasn't digging at the hotspots, or chewing herself to pieces!! This shampoo has a very mild scent, and is super gentle, and yet it got rid of all the red clay on her paws from the back yard. (Georgia Clay!) She is sleeping peacefully now, and hopefully will stay asleep all night. Thanks Gordon MacIntyre!!

Love the product! I love the smell of it and cleans our pet so nicely, her fur is so fluffy and soft. I gave four stars at this time as we have used it just a couple of times however, so far we I would buy it again.

So excited to get this. A friend gave me my first bottle to try because I had complained that the scent of most dog shampoos only last for a week or so after a good dog wash. Well, this shampoo lasts much longer, keeps my golden smelling fresh! She has been sick (having accidents too) and is finally on the mend, so I'm taking her & my Wild Gorse to the do-it-yourself dog washing place down the street. Will be great to have a fresh & lovely smelling gal again. If you are looking for along-lasting, very pleasantly scented shampoo, this is it! It's also gentle on my gal's skin, she's prone to skin allergies, but had no problems with this shampoo.

I tried this out today on one of my dogs. I can't say as I liked the smell. It's very herbal and kinda sharp...almost medicinal. It did do an ok job of cleaning the white portions of his coat. I don't see where it provided any conditioning at all...in fact it wasn't any easier to comb him than with the cheapie shampoo from the local pet store.It's a very small bottle for the price...I used maybe a quarter sized amount and that really wasn't quite enough for a thirty pound dog. It isn't going to last very long.It was really easy to rinse out. The water ran clear in no time.I knew from the reviews that the ingredients weren't listed ....I didn't think it bothered me much but after smelling it I don't think I'm real comfortable. I don't think I'll be reordering although, in all fairness, it didn't seem to bother his very sensitive skin at all.I did leave packaging feedback and it doesn't change my rating here...but it's worth noting that this shampoo doesn't come with the cap shrink wrapped or any seal under the cap. They just put it in a padded envelope and the cap wasn't tightened all the way down when it arrived. It' s amazing it didn't leak....so if you order...my suggestion is to at least make sure it's shipped by itself. It would really make a mess on other items.

I haven't tried the product yet, but the bottle spilled in the bag because the cap wasn't tightened properly, so I feel like I didn't get my money's worth. 😠 This is the second attempt. The first time the bag was empty. I just can't win!

Smells so bad.

This shampoo is incredible! Our dog has severe environmental allergies and we have used numerous shampoos specifically targeted for pruritis - after bathing, she would scratch as if the shampoo irritated her. Not so with His Majesty's Garden shampoo. For the first time in 4 years, our dog didn't scratch after bathing. His Majesty's Garden shampoo lathered up nicely, rinsed easily, and has a nice subtle clean scent - not an overpowering chemical scent. We'll definitely be buying more of this!
