i dont think itnis as loud as the other fox whistle but it is more hygienic and is a good tool for emergency situations where you need not exert effort in blowing a whistle.

Hi, At the end of the handle there is a metal clip when you lift the metal clip you can slide a portion of the black handle off the end and the 4 batteries are right there. Thank you, Joanne at Morsesports
