cruelty-free, plastic-free and bio sourced
CRUELTY FREE, PLASTIC-FREE (confimed) & bio-sourced. Wonderful company! This product as as good or better than the best laundry pod on the market. I did a large load that had odors and it came out fresh, clean and wonderful smelling! LikeOther reviewers, I suggest 3 pods for a normal load and 4-5 for large or super soiled loads. They are small pods, but powerful.I wanted to be sure the company didn’t use plastic in their “casing” surrounding each pod, so I emailed them. They got back to me right away with this:“ The casing (film) on Dropps laundry and dishwasher capsules is made from PVOH (Polyvinyl Alcohol). This isn’t traditional plastic—it’s a water-soluble polymer that dissolves completely during use, so the active ingredients stay off your skin and there’s no mess. Dropps has thoroughly tested this material for biodegradability and environmental safety, and there’s no microplastic formation as defined by California state standards. PVOH is also listed in the EPA’s CleanGredients database and meets Safer Choice standards, highlighting its environmental credentials. In addition, all packaging is recyclable paperboard, not plastic, aligning with a commitment to reducing single-use plastics.”Great company…great product….great for animals, your family and the earth.

So fresh and so clean with no harsh chemicals - win win!
We've been using Dropps for a few years now. Absolutely love how they clean our clothes. They smell great (minus Lavender Meadow... yuck... bring back Lavender Eucalyptus) Just simply drop it in your barrel before adding the clothes, and let it do the work for you. It's natural ingredients are what have won us over. Our daughters skin used to be so irritated always and we couldn't figure it out. Low and behold, it was our prior laundry detergent. The harsh chemicals were irritating her skin. Once we switched to Dropps, her skin cleared up almost immediately. It smells so fresh and the quality of the product can't be beat. Must try.

dropps products have been highly effective since I discovered them over a decade ago
I've been using this brand since they spent some time in Costco, and have been entirely satisfied with the performance. I have hard water and a very large machine so I use 2 dropps per load, but it is extremely effective and doesn't lose effectiveness with cold water, though I prefer to generally use warm water... The liquid state of detergent ensures that there are no detergent spots from powder piles. I find that the greases and dirts i encounter as a trucker get effectively cleaned in a single wash. combined with this brand's softener offering my clothes aren't harsh from the hard water. the biological based formula is effective and a comfort level for my septic system.

Awesome product but too expensive on Amazon
I use dropps for years now. It is high quality laundry detergent. The smell is great. I have a subscription on the dropps website and had to make a quick buy here on Amazon. I would absolutely give it 5 stars, but I have a problem with the price. It is sold here on Amazon directly from dropps. I pay $21 something for a subscription on their website. Why does it cost $30 here? Well, $27 right now with 10% off. Why not offering it for the same price and safe the cost of logistic, administration and so on? It doesn't make sense to sell it more expensive on Amazon.

I Wish I'd Found these Sooner!
I have never cared for powered laundry soap, so I've bought liquid soap for years. It's always been the biodegradable kind from either 7th Generation or Ecos. However, those huge plastic bottles - UGH! So now, I have the best of both worlds with Dropps Laundry Detergent Pods. The scent is light and calming. It's true that the smell won't stay on your clothes for days of weeks as seems to be the case with some highly toxic detergents. However, we have a septic tank to consider as well as the overall environment to consider, so not having a lingering smell on my clothes really doesn't concern me. They come out clean and I know I'm doing right by the environment. One pod is usually fine unless I'm doing a fairly large load such as sheets and a blanket, then I drop in two. And not for nothing, but the packaging is simply excellent.

Works great, leaves no grease stains
We bought these pods because the laundry strips were leaving some grease stains. These have worked out well and come with a large amount; however, at full price are pretty expensive at $52 a box. I bought them during cyber week for $32 and have not been disappointed. They seem to get the job done and fully clean our clothes. We bought these as non scented pods and our clothes smell fresh and clean. I do not know if I’ll be buying them in the future though as the price is too much. I’ll only buy if the cost is somewhere what I paid during cyber week.

Good detergent, hate the new packaging
I have used Dropps for both laundry and dishes for several years. I have been happy with the product's performance. I also loved the eco-friendly packaging which was actual sturdy cardboard boxes that could be reused for a variety of purposes, and eventually recycled. The new boxes are flimsy paperboard, and not even rectangular. You can't stack anything on top of them, they don't fit well, they are printed in glossy multicolored inks and heaven knows why you would even WANT to reuse them. The old boxes could be shipped without additional packaging. The new ones don't even hold up well inside a secondary shipping box. What was the point of changing a good package?

Does the job
I've been using Dropps for about a year now and find them ecologically responsible (no plastic jug to recycle) and easy to use. They get clothes clean and fresh smelling.
