I bought this after discovering, sadly the day I was to give a presentation, that my new laptop did not have a way to connect it to an lcd projector. I immediatly started figuring out what would work as I had the second half of my presenation a week later. I decided to go with the UGREEN Video Converter Adapter since I has multiple connectors. It worked perfectly with the VGA connection for the laptop to talk with the projector. I have also tried the HDMI connection on a projector and on a tv as well, both times connected smoothly. I am very glad I invested in this and hope that it works for as long as I have this laptop (probably the next one too). I will update this review if it stops working or has issues, until then, this review will stand as written.

Used it for 5 months now without any problems at all. It's sleek and compact, small enough to stay out of the way on the desk when I use it to hook up my Lenovo Yoga Pro to a large desktop monitor. Connections both ways are tight. The audio jack is a great function too. The only thing to consider is that the cord itself is only one (1) foot long so unless your device and the adapter can be on the same surface, it will produce hard drag to your micro HDMI connector. Overall it's an excellent device and the price won't break your bank at all.

Delivery was fast. i am having a little trouble with Windows 10. It works very well with a windows 7 laptop.

This worked perfectly right out of the box. I saw a couple of things on the net where others have had to trim down the plastic around the mini HDMI plug on the connectors they bought. I didn't need to do a thing.The product also seems very well made, it doesn't feel plastic-yorv cheap. The packaging was very nice, nothing wasted.

This adapter worked well to hook up and old VGA screen to a raspberry pi and allowed my raspberry pi to shut off as it should. I had ordered and adapter from a different company that back-fed power to the pi and would not let you shut off the pi without unplugging the adapter.

I bought this so I could use my Miix 320 to present classes across the country. I carry a small, older DLP projector that only has a VGA input. I often have to use monitors and projectors at client sites that have HDMI inputs. This neatly resolves the problem for not much $$$. It works just fine without any external power and shows up as an extended desktop monitor, just like it should. Well worth the money. I also have the same unit, but in the DisplayPort configuration, that works equally well on my Surface 3.

The product itself is fine, but the description is misleading to those who are not tech savvy. I thought I could hook my phone up to this and connect the VGA cable from my computer monitor to it. That was not the case. The picture makes it look like the part that goes into your phone is the same as the charger--it is not. It's a separate piece. There was nothing wrong with the product, but just a warning to anyone considering it, be aware of whether or not your phone has the capability. It DOES NOT plug in to the charging port.

This product is working just as expected. The delivery was quite speedy and the customer service is great. I use this for my Lenovo Yoga Pro and I know it is also compatible with apple products. The aux jack has been super helpful when facilities have old school projectors and speaker systems. I have used each function of this product and they are all working perfectly 2 weeks later.

Un buen producto que permite conectar un par de monitores adicionales. Buena relación precio/calidad.

Tried many micro hdmi to vga but for some reasons only this one worked with my laptop. And ugreen makes really good quality products.If u see the product isn't working don't forget to plug in the micro usb as connect it to the usb of your computer. Great product

Ich habe seit knapp 2 Jahren diesen Adapter gleich zwei Mal bei mir im Einsatz und bin bisher noch nicht enttaeuscht worden. Der funktioniert vom ersten Anstecken bis heute jedes Mal wieder.Dieser Adapter dient mir einerseits als "stationaere" Verbindung bei meinen Raspi's im Keller und wird nur bei bedarf an den gewuenschten Raspi angestoepselt und andererseits als mobiler Anschluss, wenn ich mit meinem Raspi in den Schulen unterwegs bin, um den Praesentations-Pi an den Beamer anzuschlieszen.Von meiner Seite her eine ganz klare Empfehlung, nachdem ich mit einfachen Adaptern mehrfach reingefallen bin. Und da ich nie weisz, wenn ich unterwegs bin, welchen Anschluss ich benoetige, habe ich immer diesen Adapter + ein HDMI Kabel + ein HDMI auf DP und ein HDMI auf DVI Kabel dabei. Wenn jetzt noch was nicht klappt, dann liegts nicht an der Verbindung zum Beamer / Monitor ;)

Ever since I bought my Raspberry Pi 4 I've been trying to get a decent image on the HDMI TV that I have available to match the HDMI lead provided with the Pi. But the image quality has been rather poor and so I had been looking for sometime for a solution such as this so that I could use a conventional VGA monitor (of which I have quite a few!).This device worked pretty well perfectly straight out of the box. My only tiny reservation is over the amount of power that it draws from the Pi. However, removing the case and cooling fan from the Pi (sounds daft) the Pi started to behave perfectly. Keen eyed observers will also see that there is a jack socket which allows for audio to be heard on earphones or other speaker systems. Just remember to configure the sound output for which ever operating system you are using as 'multichannel'.
