Excellent device!
The instructions are great. I found them to be very straightforward. This device is perfect for timing up to two intervals. The frequency setting in Pace mode was a little tricky. If you are pacing steps, and you want the frequency/footfall of each step to be every second, set the frequency for 0060. That’s a pace of 60 [units/steps] per minute. Think of it like beats per minute on a metronome. Also check out the Leap device and the Taylor timer (not an interval timer, but dead-simple to use and has a flashing light if you want it.)

Nearly impossible instructions
If this product had clear instructions I’d give it 5 stars. It doesn’t. The instructions seem to be written by an engineer and then translated into English from another language. They are generous in quantity, but not in clarity. There have been remarks in other reviews that it is difficult to program at first. It’s really not so bad. I suspect they were simply befuddled by the instructions. The buttons are labeled well, and the display is easier to understand. And, unlike its nearest competitor, it actually stays on your belt.

Easy to use for two-activity intervals
This works nice for two activity HIIT, but also for splitting large runs into easy pieces. I will create 2 reps of 7:30/7:30 activities for a 30 minute run. This way, I receive a buzz on my hip at 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, and completion at the 30 minute mark, without looking at a watch.

Instructions not easy to follow
Though the instructions were followed to the letter, this product failed to operate properly. It is small and the size would work great for the gym, but if I cannot get it to track time correctly then it is not a good product. I do not recommend

Very very small!!!
I’ve never had a specific interval timer before. When I went to a 3-day boxing clinic the trainer’s interval timer was much larger. And so far, having read the instructions 3 times, I still am unable to set it. Once I get that working perhaps this thing will be functioning like crazy.

Amazing device to use for my workouts
I used to use my phones timer apps but now I bring this with me for all my workouts. It does just what I need it to do such as timing my runs or my full body workouts. The timer keeps track of my pace for each round and beeps when the timer is up as expected. it even comes with a belt clip so that I won't lose it haha

"auto"?
i bought this because it said you could turn auto off. i assumed that meant it wouldnt automatically start the timer after each set. no, it just takes away the second timer. pointless.
