100% recomendado

Compatible with Spectra/Maymom parts
This is a wonderful pump. I'm currently exclusively pumping 10 times a day to increase my supply and build a stash for my newborn. I already have/use the Medela Pump In Style and Spectra S2 and use both at different times of the day. But sitting tethered to a chair for 5 hours a day became impossible with a newborn. Enter the Mya. It does last about 4 sessions and I can fit it in my robe pocket and use a pumping bra to work or do other tasks at the same time. The main reason for my.review it to share that this fits with all Spectra parts and thus any setup you might be using with it. I've included a picture of my Spectra parts and the maymom adaptor to which I use with maymom flanges size 17 and 19. This little pump has great suction equivalent to the level I use while on Spectra. I journal my pumping sessions and have not noticed a decrease at all.Update (6/25/2019):I now ONLY use the Mya to pump. A few days after including this pump into my rotation I noticed my overall output increasing. I wasn't sure if it was the pump or some other things I was trying so I tested a theory. My nighttime pumps are done at the same time each night (10pm, 2AM, 5:30AM) while the daytime pumps are done at various times around baby sleeping. I started to use this pump at my nightime pumps to accurately compare output and WOWZA- this little gadget was emptying me in almost 6 minnutes. When i go the full 30 minutes i got multiple let downs and get maybe an ounce or two more. This is a lot since I was only pumping about 2 ounces before at those times. My overall output has slowly increased in the weeks I've been exclusively using the Mya to the point I'm not needing to supplement at all anymore. The other night the Mya died during the middle of the night pump, and when I tried to use the Spectra it honestly felt so weak comparatively. I decided to go into the living room to finish pumping with the Mya plugged in. So here's some additional pros/cons for this pump:PROs:-VERY strong different feeling suction that empties breast quickly-You are able to take the nearly dead pump mid-pumping session and plug it in to charge/continue pumping without any disruption-This thing really is tiny, and can easily fit in purse etc. I imagine paired with those freemie cups ( i don't have) you would never really notice the inconvenience that is pumping (minus all the cleaning)CONS:-The LED light is BRIGHT. Blindingly so in the middle of the night. I have to hide it under the blanket when I pump in the same room as baby in the bassinet since it lights up the room so much. You cannot turn it off.-This pump is actually a little loud (louder than the Spectra, quieter than the Medela PIS). It's not noticeable during the day but in the middle of the night with only the white noise on and the bright screen I worry it will wake baby-Buttons not back-lit: Despite the LED being so bright you cannot make out what the buttons say in the dark. You quickly sort of memorize it so you can operate it in a dark room but still, that would be an easy feature to add.- The LCD screen cover seems sort of flimsy. The other day what I thought was a crack appeared on the LCD screen plastic cover. I thought maybe it was a crack from bumping up against something while in my pocket or it falling without me knowing. But a few days ago the "crack" moved. It was dangling from the inside of the plastic. I guess a leaf or something got under the plastic between the LCD screen. This is more so a reminder that despite its size this is a piece of equipment and spilling anything on it etc could potentially get to the LCD screen and ruin it pretty easily. I put mine in a little felt bag when I put it in my purse.NOT GOOD OR BAD: The battery is dependent on what level you operate the pump on. Higher expression and massage levels gets you shorter battery life while not plugged inDEFINITELY get this pump, It's a no-brainer if you are able to get it free through insurance.

Worthy 🙌🏻🙌🏻
I purchased this pump after a two week unexpected trip out of state that had me on the road upwards of 3-4 hours a day with 8 hour drives on either end. I usually pump after every nursing session and travel time like this can have a hugely negative impact on our daily routine and also my supply in general. (My son gets milk through an SNS; so while we EBF, I also pump like a EPer.)When I got this, I paired it with freemie cups and I have not looked back once. I’ve used a spectra2 with all my kiddos (all four fed via SNS) and this discrete, almost pocket sized pump works just as well.Pros:-Suction is great- I’ve never cranked it all the way up, even when double pumping.-In the mornings, I pump anywhere from 90 - 120 consecutive minutes and I’ve yet to have the battery die on me.-transitions seamlessly between battery and AC power so you can plug in half way through or disconnect and go.-small, discreet pump housing. Fits in a robe pocket or even in my house pants.-relatively light weight. I think it weighs less than my iPhone Xs with the case on.-easily adaptable to other brand attachments. I use this with freemie cups and my spectra diaphragms (I honestly never tried what came in the box- I suppose I should try and update...)Neither pro nor con:-it has an adjustable massage setting to encourage let down; this feature is not on a timer so if your not paying attention, you could accidentally (or on purpose) pump your entire session in this “flutter” mode.-automatic shut off at 30 minutes.-bright LED. I imagine this would be annoying or perceivably problematic if pumping near a sleeping person. I’ve only been annoyed with it in the car at night, but flipped it on it’s face and viola, problem solved.Cons:-it’s not particularly loud, but it’s not particularly quiet either. In a room with no other noise, it’s definitely not discrete, but I’m sure you could muffle it to a point. This is not a deal breaker at all for me, but notable.I’ve used this upward of 5 times daily- up to 6 hours a day easily. Works as well today as on day 1. My favored spectra is now my back up, which I haven’t missed at all. (And I’ve tried various pumps and brands.)
