Harrows Bomber Dart Set

If anyone is looking for a set of darts a little bit heavier and a little bit fatter than the usual straight barrel style, these may well suit you.Personally I have always favoured a shorter barrel anyway, and as I am back playing again after a few years away, I wanted something heavier. As you get older you need a heavier set - it does help rather like changing Golf Clubs for improvement or because you can't hit the ball as far as you used to.This shape of dart, always attributed to being a John Lowe style, is a favourite of so many players, myself now included. Harrows, a very well known company have made these in 85% Tungsten which I also prefer. In time these barrels will fade in shine but will become more stable in the hand due to it forming its own grip from the sweat pores of your hand. With anything higher than 85% this process takes longer.At 25 grams, this means that the barrel is slightly fatter, which again helps with accuracy. Some people wont understand this because they see so many top players using thin darts they naturally assume they are more accurate. To that I would draw their attention to Phil Taylor who uses probably the fattest barrels of any current top player.In short, these darts are classic in shape, feel good in the hand, and slightly heavier than what the majority of players use. Great darts but did take quite a while to be delivered and no tracking number was supplied,Darts has improved my game though. Hit a 106 checkout the other night!

Excellent darts, the grip on them is superb, nice weight, can throw straight without the darts wobbling in flight....
