We bought this for our full length Glass door in our business. Initially I purchased it to block out the light from within our premises when we are rehearsing light shows etc.. we do big light art installations! However, during the summer months we’ve found the blind offers more than expected by deflecting or at least blocking the heat from direct sunlight during daylight hours. It’s proved to be well worth its price point and we’re delighted with its performance as well as exceeding our expectations.

Well made easy to use

Very good quality and easy to fit

This blind was great value and arrived promptly. The front is a natural coloured canvas-like material. the back is white plastic which looks a bit tacky but since that's not going to be seen it doesn't really matter. It is very practical also because it will be damp resistant. Although this was the smallest blind that I could find it was still way too big for the window that I needed to cover, so I needed to cut it down to size. The material is very easy to sew with a sewing machine, does not fray and is very strong and sturdy. The weighted bar at the bottom is made of heavy duty plastic rather than metal so I was able to cut it easily with a fine tooth hacksaw to make it narrow enough to fit my space. The installation is very easy with the exception of one crucial thing that is not mentioned in the instructions. If you are mounting it on a wall with a ceiling or shelf or something above it, you will need to allow a good bit of extra space (the diameter of the rolled up blind and a bit more) above the mounting brackets and below the ceiling\shelf because the roll of the blind slots into one side then you have to hold it over the other bracket and slide it down which you can't do if there's a ceiling\shelf immediately above it.

Was perfect and easy to fix.

I installed the blind using the plasplugs and screws provided, drilling directly into the bathroom wall above the window. A very straightforward to do using my hammer drill and 6/64”drill bit. The lozenge shaped bracket holes allow some minor adjustments horizontally, but care taken to make sure the vertical position was essential. Thankfully only one of the holes slipped at bit vertically as it drilled and the screw still found the plasplug. Excellent finish and smooth blind function with the plastic chain. Sad it is made in China though. A British product would have been my first choice.

Perfect easy fit great value

im switching to waterproof blinds due to damp windows causing mould to grow on the fabric. other blinds came with a plastic frame around the top to stop the water getting to them when wound up, these blinds dont have this, the brackets are also much more fiddly to fit rather than the push fit of other brands. Suprised to find the brackets were metal hoping they dont rust. And the fabric came with frays already down one side which i had to tidy up, also was about 2 cm over its stated size which meant a lot of fiddly trimming and it runs very tight but it is a good thick blind in a pleasant simple colour.
