Star Finder!: A Step-By-Step Guide to the Night Sky

Super book for all ages, the best in its category.

This book instantly became so special to me. My Dad is retired, and always looking for little things that can keep him busy! I remember as a kid he would always show me the constellations and how to use the sky. I bought this little book for him on his 69th birthday, and his face lit up!! He was so excited to rediscover the night sky and just enjoy the cosmos again! There's a detailed time span of meteor showers, specific constellations and how to travel through the sky in each season! Even where to locate planets, star clusters, nebulae, and unique stories about the constellations. Great gift! Great book!

We purchased a telescope and wanted a book to help our children have fun recognising constellations in the night sky. The goal was a book not containing complicated technical terminology seen in most astronomy books and star charts, but with enough sophistication as to not be considered a basic child level ‘introduction into constellations’. The text of the book is not condescending, and is actually a great beginner book for adults, although I would say the target audience is definitely 9-12 year olds. This book is definitely not a comprehensive outlook of the night sky; however, I would say this book would be a great first step for young astronomers.

Excellent service- excellent book of stars and constellations
