This product has changed and not for the better!The product has changed from a smooth disc of about 40% wider and 30% thinner and much smoother in finish (easier on the gums) to a coarse, rough, smelly, peppery hot and unpleasant lozenge. As I remember, the original disc was sold in a sealed bag inside the paper box and had no odor when closed up. The present bag of six boxes 'stinks', as does even one box of the present product when it is carried in an upper coat pocket.I've had to put the several boxes of this product in a sealed refrigerator bag in order to prevent the unpleasant odor from contaminating our medicine cabinet.How disappointing! I have literally used the progenitor of this product for over 50 years - and it was right up there alongside Smith's Licorice Cough Drops for effectiveness! NO MORE! FINI! CAPUT! DONE! THROUGH!(I added one star for the colors used on the box design.)

No other throat lozenge is as effective for getting rid of that annoying dry throat tickle. These used to be thin little discs, but they've recently made them chunkier, so they last longer. They taste a little licorice-y, but not overwhelmingly so. They are kind of hard to find, so I always buy the six-pack from Amazon, which is a really good bargain and last quite a while. I've sworn by these little gems for years and highly recommend them for anyone with a nagging dry cough or chronic dry throat.

These little guys have been around for at least 50 years, however, you can't seem to find them in stores. They are really great for that little tickle you get in your throat that just make you feel like you have to clear your throat all the time. I was really happy to find them on Amazon. So, if you have that little tickle that just won't go away, try these!

Throat Discs is a timeless, natural product that needs to stay on the market for years to come!!! The original formula was tops, but the updated formula is good too. It's a great throat soother for singers and speakers... Thank you, Amazon, for making it available to your customers.

These are my "go to" lozenges during my allergy season. I've used them for decades. The formula has changed over the years as has my access to them...from drugstore to manufacturer to online shopping. They still work well for me.

I've been singing for 25 plus years and this product is the best thing ever! If you have over sang, talked to much, and/or Raspy...these Throat Discs will bring your voice back to life instantly! I have had many friends in the business that needed them but had never heard of them until I told 'em! If you sing for a living and have vocal fatigue, then this is the product for you! Can't live without them!

I got these for my husband, who just plain coughs a lot. They quiet his tickle sufficiently to make a huge difference for him. Plus, they're very nice if you like licorice and anise.
