Alterna Shampoo and Conditioner Set

Love this shampoo. The bottles are terrible however. First you can’t hardly open then with wet hands. Then once you some how manage to twist the slippery lid open you had to press the bottle against the shower wall to get some product out… get your self some decent bottles and just transfer this product lol.

I love this shampoo it is perfect shampoo for my hair.I allways get compliments on my hair and people ask me what kind of shampoo I use. The only problem I have with this shampoo is the packaging. I AM 73 and I have arthritis in my hands and I have great difficulty getting shampoo and especially the conditioner out of containers.I keep them turned upside down and rhat helps some but I usually have to press them against the tap or side of shower to get the product out of container. I am not so sure what you could do about this but maybe make the containers a little softer or more flexible. Still love the Shampoo talked to my sisters and they have same problem.

Good for thin hair

Is a good shampoo. Left my hair shiny. Think it is overpriced.

I've been using the Alterna Shampoo, Conditioner, Volume Mist and Mousse and my hair has never looked better! This plumps up each hair to triple the volume, as I can feel and see it. These products don't contain harsh sulfides as well. Highly recommended for high volume, luminous, healthy hair!UPDATE: The results just keep getting better and better! I've noticed less breakage, increasing volume, shine and manageability and it's become unnecessary to wash my hair every day. I'm now washing it every other day and it looks just as good on the 2nd as it does on the first!

The caps screw open, but they clog easily and I can't just take the lid off. It is frustrating for my hands and mild arthritis. The product was not exceptional and I won't buy again, however, I LOVE the light spray in thickening product Alterna makes that I apply to my hair before I blow dry it.

This is my favorite shampoo combo. I have very fine blonde hair that is also (as the years go on) treated to keep my color light. Then I usually have to use a hair mask after coloring (to keep my hair in good condition after the harshness of the color process) which leaves my hair too soft and limp to hold much style.But now this product has given me the perfect balance of softness and volume. I've used other volume shampoo products but they leave my hair looking too damaged. This product just works great and I will order it again.

The cap, which I have yet to be able to completely remove to fix the issue, has a very fancy design. Basically, you dial the cap "open" and then invert the bottle and squeeze through the orifice (opening) in the cap. IN THEORY. I am an active person with decent grip strength. I also have worked for one of the most well-known personal care companies in retail, in quality assurance and with packaging developers and engineers. The design of this package for the product it contains is wrong. I can barely squeeze the bottle and once my hands are wet (I assume most people use this in the shower) it is nearly impossible to dispense the conditioner, and the shampoo is difficult. The proper design would have a much thinner bottle wall (enabling it to be squeezed more easily), and/or a much less viscous product. Even after inverting the bottle and shaking the product down, it is still very difficult to dispense. The irony is that this product is marketed for anti-aging, so I imagine the target market is at least as old as I am and if not older, and I could not imagine my grandmother being able to use this product at all. Adding insult to injury, I was not blown away by the shampoo and conditioner performance...should have stuck with regular Pantene instead. Much less expensive and I don't have to have a wrestling contest to use. Product compatibility and package design fail.

My go to hair shampoo and conditioner range. These leave my hair both soft and full of volume. Worth the price. No nasties!

I love the products but have been sent 2 shampoos instead of conditioner. Hope this will be rectified. These products aren't cheap so you expect them to be packaged correctly
