Asics are a little smaller now than they were in previous models.
I've been buying Asics for 25 years. Asics has changed their sizing a little bit. The toe box is now a little smaller. I talked to them at Asics USA and they said I needed to go 1/2 size larger than I have in the past. They were right. These are good shoes, just buy them a little larger than you used to.

Fit one full size smaller than older generation Gel-Cumulus or any shoe for that matter. If you wear a 10 buy a 11
I should have taken heed of what everyone had said in their review about it being smaller fit. I ordered these in size 10 which is the same size as the last 4 generations of Gel-Cumulus that I have ordered and when I got them they weren't a little snug, they out right didn't fit. My toes were curled under themselves. I went to Dicks sports and tried on a pair to see if I need a half or full size....these shoes fit a full size smaller and I had to order a size 11.Again these are the 4th generation of the same exact shoe I have bought in size 10 now I am wearing a size 11.

Great shoe but go for a 1/2 size bigger
I've stuck with ASICS since I started running 3 years ago because of the gel cushioning in the heel (and also the toe on the Cumulus), overall comfort and the relative lightness and flexibility of the shoe. I started with the Contend-3, moved up to the Cumulus-18 and just bought the Cumulus-19 to replace them (after wearing out my 18s). I usually take a 10.5 but found that size 11 on the ASICS fit me best and went with that size here too.

Great - once I got the right size
I've worn Asics size 12M running shoes for years. Mostly gel-Nimbus. Since I am an underpronator, thought I'd try the gel-Cumulus 19 this time. Ignored the warnings in the reviews about getting a half size larger thinking that surely a big time company like Asics would not suddenly change sizing. Wrong!!! Size 12M too short and too narrow. I even ran in them a couple times hoping they would stretch some. Nope. So I returned them and got 12.5 M. Really happy with these so far. Very cushiony on pavement. May get another pair of these now while price is right and I know what size works.

It's hard to find the right and comfortable shoes for me
My feet are size 9 1/2 wide and a bit flat. It's hard to find the right and comfortable shoes for me.This pair of shoes fits my feet just fine. It's snugged with a bit room to wiggle my toes. It's very comfortable. The design of the sole is great. It gives me the lift on my heels. So, it needs less strength to raise my knees. It makes walking much easier and enjoyable for a senior citizen like me. It's just like walking in the clouds.Thank you. And, I will definitely buy it again.

I love the cushioning that ASICS Gel-Cumulus gives me
I love the cushioning that ASICS Gel-Cumulus gives me. I don't like that ASICS shoes run small for American sizes. I actually am a US size 11½, when I started wearing ASICS I had to go to their US size 12. There were a lot of reviews that stated that the Gel-Cumulus 19 ran small and you should go a ½ size larger. But since I had already done that with ASICS I didn't think it was necessary for me. Boy! was I wrong! I am disappointed that ASICS continue to run small. Now the next time I order an ASICS shoes I have to go to 12½, a full 1 size larger than my actual US size. Also, I do not like that ASICS no longer carry the Pomegranate/Black/Sulphur Spring color. It was perfect for our track & field team colors.

A Old Reliable Friend
This is my third or fourth pair of Gel Cumulus shoes over the last few years. I have an extra wide foot and need good cushioning to protect my old joints. They provide both--although narrower widths are also available. These shoes have always been comfortable to wear right out of the box. I jog about 500 miles in them over a year, and I have never had a shoe failure. After a year of use, the cushioning has lost some resilience and the tread texture has become less prominent, making them ill-suited for jogging. But.they are kept in service for another year as casual shoes.

Cumulus Quality and Build Has Improved
Back in the early to mid-2000's, I wore Asics Cumulus for running and then I eventually upgraded to Nimbus because I wasn't liking the Cumulus models anymore. The Cumulus began to look cheap and didn't offer the stability and cushioning of Nimbus. I don't run as much anymore (busted knees and bad hip), but I decided to go back to the Cumulus since they've improved the looks and design since the 2000's. I'm really satisfied with the Cumulus-19! This pair feels really well-structured and the cushioning is more than adequate. I haven't worn any Nimbus since the 16, so I can't compare the two, but the prices of Nimbus have skyrocketed and now Cumulus has taken over where the Nimbus used to be priced.I bought the Indigo Blue/Black/Safety Yellow model. It's more of a blue-purple color and the yellow is definitely neon.

Great product. I'd read they're great for anyone with achilles problems, and the seamless insole / inner meant I could run my triathlon without socks. Quick delivery too!

Very happy
Great trainers. I always have Asics Cumulus each year as they're supportive and comfortable. I always get the goretex ones as they're waterproof. Nice colour and packaged well.
