Fantastic little book - many tech books claim to give a concise guide for beginners, but very few effectively achieve that. This guide gave me an easily digestible overview of predictive modelling, and provided the perfect starting point for my journey into ml.Not sure why another reviewer gave 1* for it being basic and simple - that's the books USP.

I really like what the author has done here, the forward says it well. A brilliant book with a clear and simple introduction to enough python to make it work for regression techniques. Machine learning is both a fun and important development for now and also for the future of human technology. I am looking forward to ordering and reading the second book in the series.

I was totally new to programming and this book gave me a great introduction to Python. It has great illustrated examples and explains complex concepts in a manner newbie like me can understand. Looking forward to next book in the series.

The book is surprisingly very clear and comprehensive. Usually, I get lost in these kinds of technical books but the author has done a marvelous job of navigating through some very difficult topics. I still need to sit down and do the labs but I was able to grasp many concepts in my first read. I also liked the fact that the subsections are short and very digestable

Decent book providing an introduction to machine learning using Python. Note that reading this in Kindle device is not very intuitive, as the code examples appear as small screenshots.

I got this book to help me brush up on some skills and learn some new ones. Personally, I love these kind of books because it shows you multiple ways to test a model, recommends you run multiple models, and even use some underrated features of python. If you have a decent foundation, in python and stats (optional), i highly recommend this book.

Fantastic read. Very easy to process for someone starting out, and looking to push themselves to the next level. Will be using for reference for a long time to come.
