Internally, is the decryption key based on users pin, or a hard-coded unique value?** A: It is hard-coded and has nothing to do with the Master Code (PIN) selected by the user. For security reasons we never reveal which type of encryption we are using. But it is double folded and encryption of the data is not the only security we are using. In addition to this you must know the Master Code, otherwise all data will be erased when you enter a wrong Master Code three times in a row. After you have changed the battery your codes are still available, and you do not need to re-type them. **Q: Can special characters be stored? The information given in the description suggests they can but some of the reviews suggest they can't.** A: Yes most of special characters can be easily store too.
