Great wrench. It does the job well.
Well made tool. It serves the purpose. My only complaint is that the rubber has a strong chemical smell typical of Chinese made products. The smell fades and reduces with time but never goes completely away. In terms of function, it does the job very well. I use it to unscrew the lens holders of binoculars. I’ll certainly recommend it for others.

good product but 2 big issues with it
the lens cap on my mag-light was so tight that i could not get it off. it made me think of these so i decided to get this set. they worked and now i have them for the next time something needs loosening or tightening. 2 big issues with it though.1.this is the biggest one. they appear to be made with the same rubber as a set of tires are. as with a set of new tires, they have a VERY strong smell. they smell just like a set of new tires. they will leave the smell on your hands although it is easy to wash off. if you're a single woman(or married woman) that has that tool drawer in the kitchen, u will not be putting this tool in there because it will smell up your whole kitchen. i even doubt most guys would throw it in their tool box. i had to store them in a large ziplock bag.2. they have no locking mechanism. they grab something and tighten their grip as pressure is applied much like a pipe wrench does. but they have to be snug before they can grip.i had to use both tools at the same time. i needed one to hold my light still while the other unscrewed the lens cap. it was a struggle because it was hard to keep the straps tight at the same time.i would recommend this product but they have room for improvement.

The worst
This product did not work at all and was very difficult to use as well. The strap does not lock into place when you tighten it. You pull it tight and have to hold it there while trying to turn. So you can never get a good grip or leverage. On the first use of trying to get off my oil filter it started to tear. The rubber tore and almost completely tore off just by trying to turn the filter. That’s literally it’s one job… useless. And my oil filter is on the top, so just under my hood and very easily accessible. I kept trying to use this useless device and it eventually dented my oil filter so bad that I managed to get it off but it cause a horrible mess and ALOT of frustration. I returned this product and would recommend people to find one that locks into place when tightening so you can easily turn it. And find something with better grip.

Do not get oily or greasy,, they will not grip.
Rettun/Tuffman tool are the best .I ordered these rubber strap wrenches for automotive usage.A factory shift knob on a 2011 Shelby GT500 is almost impossible to remove with out destroying the knob because use of some sort of thread locker stronger than red locktite. It wasn’t easy but the large rubber strap wrench did get it off without wrecking the factory ball.Thank you Rettun, your tool saved the day !!!!!!!Buy a pair you too will love these wrenches and save your day too

I can open jars again
That’s right: this strap wrench (both of them) is a handy tool for the kitchen when it’s time to open (or close tightly) jars.I suffer from locking finger joints on both hands, which has made opening jars painful to impossible. The smaller of the two wrenches in this set lives in a kitchen drawer just for opening jars. It’s so much easier than a rubber gripping aid placed on the lid … using the wrench provides much greater leverage, making the job nearly effortless by comparison. And if you’re trying to close a jar very tightly, just flip the wrench upside down and turn it the opposite direction. There’s a little picture on the handle with an arrow that indicates the direction to turn the wrench when removing your oil filter – opening jars works exactly the same way.If your hands have been weakened or ruined by age or arthritis, you need this tool in your kitchen.
