Well if you do this clear, very well made clip will hold your towel in place. It is made of heavy plastic that gives just enough to go over the towel bar. It’s clear so it blends in. Very durable, doesn’t slip. I wish that I had this years ago. It’s great. It arrived quickly thanks to desertcart. Quality product. I highly recommend it.

**Q: If my small dog pulls on the kitchen towel and these are on it, will the clips break?**
A: The towel clip stays on securely.  Highly unlikely that a small dog could break clip.

**Q: Do these come in brushed metal or pastels for a more sophisticated look?.**
A: Currently, they only come in clear polycarbonate.

**Q: How wide is the opening?  Need for 1” bar**
A: Though the opening is smaller, it works like a spring and will easily work with a 1" diameter bar.

The clips hold my hand & dish towels onto my appliance handles very well. The one downside of the clips is that you need to 'unclip' them if you want to remove them for a specific use. It's nice not to have to continually be picking up towels that have fallen off the appliance handles.
