Great product! Bought a second one because it’s that good!
I wanted motion detection lights for my back yard near my shed. The shed is in a shady area and doesn’t get enough sun to charge to charge solar batteries. This motion detection light uses 3 D batteries which is perfect for my situation. I easily mounted light to my shed to light up my yard. It was very easy to install and set up. I liked it so much that I bought a second one and mounted it inside my shed so that I can light up the inside of the shed when it’s dark . Works great ! Motion detection has 3 settings. Light brightness also has 3 settings. Very pleased! Good product with easy set up and install

Great Option When You Have No External Power Source
I bought a 2-pack to supplement wire-in motion sensor lights in other areas around the house. Initial experience is very good. Easy to install and the variety of brightness, detection range, activation time and sensitivity settings made me very happy. I'll have to remember to check the batteries periodically, but that's a small price to pay for peace of mind. My units are mounted under a very deep overhang on a side of the house where wind and rain will never be an issue, so that should extend their life. Excellent low-cost alternative to many other units on Amazon and at Lowe's/Home Depot. Having three very adjustable heads gives the flexibility to light a large area. I have mine set to medium intensity to extend battery life, but I may revisit that as they are seldom activated and the additional light is unlikely to reduce battery life significantly.

Still shines after batteries run out, but not very bright
I got these lights over 1.5 years ago, and they are still working. I really didnt mess with the settings too much, but the lights do work. The batteries lasted a couple of months being bright, and then after that, the solar power kicked in. When you dont change out the batteries, they do still work, but at very low brightness. I would suggest just changing out the batteries every so often.East installation and great motion sensors. I would suggest these lights to anyone!

Works well
Easy to install, sensor works fine, light is adequate. Perhaps not as brilliant as one working off house current, but bright enough. The good part is that battery operation means it can be installed anywhere. You can install on a tree to fend off varmints. And priced to sell.

Great battery powered light
This is the third light I have purchased, and have had the first 2 for several years. The light works great and is very sturdy. Easy to install as well. I use it to light a path to our barn. The batteries last quite a long time. The only issue is that the light stays on for a max of 20 seconds. This is fine for lighting a path, but would need to be triggered to stay on very long.

OK for a walkway
It turns off every 30 seconds, motion or not. If you move once it turns off, it will turn right back on, but it is quite annoying to have to wave at it every 30 seconds. I have it where I store firewood, and it keeps turning off as I fill up my basket. It detects my 14 pound dogs much better than it detects my 6’6” body wearing a parka. Light is OK, but nothing like a hardwired light. I managed to mount it to a 2x beam, but it is clearly not designed for such a narrow surface. The heads did pivot around to work in a ceiling mount, but it has to be a dry location for this orientation.

Easy installation, but best of all easy to replace batteries!
We live in an apartment. There are no lights in the backyard, nor in our parking spot, and even some of the stairs. It’s not our building so we can’t have it installed permanently. Where we are it doesn’t get quite enough solar to energize any kind of light. We made the mistake of buying our 1st light at Walmart. We’ve learned by trial and error, it’s really important to be able to easily install batteries when necessary. Although we have not needed to since we installed Duracell & the first light almost two months ago! The light is so bright it lights up the entire backyard! Now we’re buying a second one to light up our parking area after a failed light from Walmart which required a ladder every time to unscrew the light from the holder in order to change the batteries! The installation of our new light are reachable from our porch (on 2nd fl) And all you have to do is slide the light up to take it off the base!

New closet light
OK...I have tried multiple battery powered "closet" lights and they are not bright enough. So I thought I would try this one. I do not believe that it is really a 1500 Lumen light, but then again, I'm using Amazon Basics Size D NiMH rechargeable batteries in it and they work fantastic. So I thinking the light isn't running at full brightness because of the lower voltage of the NIMH batteries. I have been experimenting with this for 3 weeks now and have now mounted it permanently in the closet...I know this isn't what it is sold for, but it works great for me. Beats ripping out the drywall and hard wiring everything...and beats those "closet" battery operated things.
