A postage stamp patchwork grid, predominantly in rich purples and browns, is the focal point of this striking lap quilt. Lending itself to lap, table top, or wall, it could easily serve baby, as well. There's a lot of potential in this 33.5" x 45.5" piece. The body boasts two narrow inner borders in brown, then purple and brown; the wider brown outer border and binding fabric emphasize the purple palette. Double layered, and hand stitched, the binding compliments the bold leaf pattern of the back side. Varying sizes of leaves are machine quilted overall in brown thread. This quilt is machine wash and dry, and was constructed in a smoke-free studio. Small but mighty, the postage stamp purple and brown lap quilt has been durably constructed for many potential uses. Nicely sized for couch sitting, convalescence, car, or crib. A feast for the eyes!
