This is a review of the Black Hammer Mens Leather Safety Waterproof Boots S3 Steel Toe Cap Work Shoes Ankle Leather 7777 - there are several different models available.I live in the country and walk my dog on the edge of Salisbury Plain which is very muddy and slippery at the moment. I have been looking for some shoes/boots that I could drive in AND wear for walking - instead of driving there in my shoes and changing in to wellies. These fit the bill perfectly. Not too much bigger than my ordinary size 11 shoes so no problems driving in them and really comfortable for walking in. I appreciate that they are not sold as walking shoes but they seem much better in that role than the plastic coated trainers that are sold as walking shoes.Excellent product, very pleased and excellent fit (I bought the same size I do for ordinary shoes).

I brought these boots because they were advertised as waterproof. To day was the first time I have had any rain to try them in and, on my return from a 20 min walk I've had to change to a dry pair of socks. These boots are as waterproof as a pair of sandals.

Have had them well over a yearWe have to use saftey shoes at work behind counters incase we drop a knife or there's grease/blood ect on the floor the comfort inside has worn out to be fair but I'm still happy as it still does the jobThey fit perfect and i haven't slipped on my ass once that's a plusDefinitely worth the price will probably buy again

I was happy with these boots!They fit well, lightweight & comfortable.But after only 5 months the sole on both boots has completely come loose at the front, the water proofing is non existent.They have not had a hard life, I am a hgv driver so most of the time I'm only driving.Very disappointed would not recommend!!!

Product arrived quick enough. After the first day of using them I felt like my right foot wasn’t quite fitting in the boot like the left. Put it down to probably my right foot being a slight different size. However after another day of wearing I was sure something not right. On closer inspection the right boot ankle fitting is a different height to the left, a lot lower And the sole is also slightly higher. It’s annoying but having wore them I’ll just have to put up with it or I will buy another pair and use these as spares.

Perfect fit, very comfortable, beautifully made, excellent price, stylish, good detail, these are just some of the comments my husband made about these boots and he is a grumpy 70 year old which he will admit to. Brilliant.

Purchased these boots after reading the reviews.I am a car wash/valeter and work outside all day in all weather.As well as the recent heavy rain and the water from the pressure wash my feet have stayed dry.The boots soft padded lining made them easy to wear for nine hours a day,and did not rub or chaffe like most new boots.Would not hesitate to buy another pair when needed.

Only had these a couple of days, but they fit perfect straight away, bought them for walking the dog they are very comfy and feel that they could be worn all day without any problem, didn’t really need steel toe cap, but as they are classed as work boots I thought they would be strong enough to last, time will tell but so far very happy.
