Easy to use and grips the food!
I like the length of these tongs. My daughter bought me the 9 inch set which I really liked but wanted the longer pair. I like these even more. They are easy to use and grip the food better than the silicone set I bought.

Lock plastic and flimsy.
I love Oxo brand but these tongs seem cheap. The locking mechanism is plastic and flimsy. It will likely break after several uses. For the price, I'm disappointed

Great tongs!
I purchased these tongs for my husband to use when cooking steaks out on the grill. He really likes them much better than the smaller ones we already had. Love the way it locks when not in use.

Caught a snake with it! Gets my vote!
The best tongs on the market. I bough a pair of these from Macys back in 2009 for about $17 (i know entirely too overpriced) they lasted me until recently when I used them to catch a small snake that somehow shimmied his way into my home! Tongs worked out great for that effort, but needless to say I wasn't about to use them again in my kitchen so out they went along with the snake! I had to replace them and glad to find them here on Amazon. Highly recommend for all your "needs".
