Q: How are they packaged? Do they get messy once opened? Can someone share a photo?

They were packed as you see the picture, but individual boxes inside..don't know what you mean by messy??

Q: Does this set work with the dash button?

When you receive your ziploc dash button you personally have to set up your dash button to choose the ziploc 347

Q: Can you recycle these?

Yes! Ziplock bags are recyclable. However, there are a few stipulations if one wishes to recycle their used Ziplock bags. •First, the bags must be washed & dried before they can be accepted. I rinse all food debris away & wash the whole bag in warm, soapy water. After I rinse off the soap, I then I hang them to dry, (with the zipper open). Once they are dry, I use them for when I clean the cat box. •Secondly, the bags must be dropped in the same place you take your used plastic grocery bags. In my experience this is usually at your local grocery store, Safeway & WalMart both have plastic bag recycling. I try to reuse mine, especially the gallon size. With the smaller bags, I often (re)use them as garbage bags for stinkier things like a banana peel, or whatever. As the saying goes, ‘Reduce, Reuse & Recycle!’ ♻️
