Rhode Island Novelty 6.25 Inch Treasure Chest Treat Boxes

So glad I found these! The quality is fantastic and you can’t beat the price! I know some said they were smaller than they imagined, so I included a photo next to a 12 oz. can for reference. They may seem small, but I also included a photo of all the things I easily fit inside! So easy to put together! Sturdy, adorable, exactly as described! These will be the perfect addition to my sons pirate party!

We got these for a 7-yr-old's pirate birthday party. I was worried that they would be hard to assemble or wouldn't stay assembled...but I was wrong - they are great! They arrive flat, and assembled quickly by pushing opposite side edges together, then pushing down the bottom from the inside. (Just a few minutes to do 2 dozen.) The cardboard is sturdier than I expected (like heavy poster board), and they stack (kind of) once in a box for passing out to the kids. My kids have since played with theirs a little bit and they have stayed assembled and have not torn. I don't expect them to last through the summer, or with rough play, but am pleasantly surprised at how they are holding up 1 week later. Shipping was Prime, and they arrived on time. I had gotten a message that they might come late (slight panic, as I ordered the same week as the party), but everything arrived right on time. The boxes are nice and roomy and held a number of things; they were also long enough to hold a pencil (diagonally). They closed easily, as well, to finish assembly, and stayed closed. Could not have been easier for me, and the kids loved getting their own treasure chest at the end of the party! I used a metallic paint pen to write "Lass" on the girl ones, since some of the items for the girls were different than for the boys. I would definitely buy again, and will since little brother now wants a pirate party for his next birthday. :-)

SUPER cute! We had a pirate party for my son and used these for the gift bags. The kids loved them and they are cheaper than even going to the dollar store to get plain bags (which I have done in the past). I have extras and my son likes to put things in them and play like they are treasure. They are actually pretty sturdy too, so he's able to use them for a while.

Went together easily. Roomy and help all the items. Might be an issue with holding together if you filled the box completely. Perhaps could add tape on the bottom to reinforce. Worked fine for our needs.

Bought them as party favors for a pirate party. Super easy to assemble, great quality. We made little padlocks and keys in different colors with perler beads and stuck the lock with clear tape on the box. The kids each got a key and had to search for the box with the same color lock. They loved it. Just as a warning: Just don't plan on putting marbles as treasures inside. : ) That's a bit too heavy - but I put a bit of clear tape on the bottom and they held up to it! I wouldn't blame the box for it though. I would highly recommend them! The kids had so much fun with them and loved them.

I am so friggin happy!!! These were perfect and larger than I was expecting! So cute! I definitely put some tape on the bottom just in case but they feel pretty sturdy! I cannot wait to see the kids faces! In the box: snack size cheezits, chips ahoy, fruit snacks, a ring pop, a taffy bar, 3 beaded necklaces, a compass ring, whistle, bubbles (not the dinky favor ones), magnifying glass, tattoos and stickers. All fit perfectly.

No extra tape needed. Nice size for toys and candy.

These treasure chest boxes are super cute. They're much bigger than I thought they'd be so I ended up having to buy extra candy to put in them. I got them for our pirates and mermaids party and filled them with gold and silver foil wrapped chocolates, ring pops, pearl necklaces, rings, pirate eyepatches, gold pirate coins and little spy glasses. They were a huge hit and everyone loved them. The only thing that was a bit annoying was that some of the tabs on a few boxes wouldn't stay put and they kept popping open. Not a big deal and something that's easily fixed with a bit of tape. I would definitely recommend these little treasure chests for anyone having a pirate or mermaid party!
