I didn't like this product, I LOVED IT.I was concerned due to the fact that I was fitting this on my 8 metre MotorHome with no wiring whatsoever.My concern was the distance that the wireless signal would have to travel to reach the monitor. I need not have worrried.I charged the monitor up using the lead provided. I then checked the tyre pressures were correct.I fitted the sensors to the tyre valves as clearly instructed and one by one up came the correct pressures.I am now sitting in my back kitchen diner looking at the tyre pressures with my MO HO in the drive way almost hidden from view apart from the top corner at the other side of the house. See pictures.My driveway is so narrow it would be impossibe to inflate or fix a flat tyre with the van in situ so this is a great tool for me not only whilst on the road but whilst parked up sometimes for long periods in the driveway. Top marks to Tymate, this is a great productFor your information. Distance to the top corner of the van from the monitor on the kitchen table is 10 metres.

Using a compressor with accurate digital gauge I pumped all tires to known pressures. The readings were plus or minus 2 psi on the TPM. If you have different pressures on front and rear tires (say in a van), then the low pressure threshold is useless. They added a voltage measurement for convenience, but it is annoying because it is wrong (+.4 volt high).The worst thing is that you could have the vehicle parked and the tires go flat because the sensors leaked air, and it wouldn't update the display until you started driving.This product is a good idea, but poorly implemented.

It took me a considerable time to get this product working because the video directions were so poor. I finally figured out how to fix the problems on my own and the product then seemed to work fine. Vidio instructions are no substitute for a well written set of instructions. These Chinese translations to English were so poorly written that they become useless and the video instructions were no better because they had no depth about describing the product or procedures for programming.

Initially everything seemed nice until I checked the accuracy of each of the sensors. Two of the sensors were 10 psi off after only a few months of usage. Once in a while the device would notify me that the tire pressure is dangerously low and I would check it only to find that the sensor is wrong. Sometimes the sensor doesn't transmit the data and all the screen shows is a blank space where the reading is supposed to be. Customer service is not helpful and steps provided are complicated and do not fix anything. I would strongly advise one to not choose this faulty product.

I like everything about it. I can pop it in and out of the cigarette lighter and its instantly active. Glad the tire batteries are changeable when the time comes. Also shows the electrical voltage of the car. I would recommend this to anyone with low profile tires because you cant tell by looking if they are low on pressure. I once bought a new car and drive it 1 hour home and parked it. I checked tire pressure the next morning and noticed one had a nail and zero pressure. Needless to say it was ruined. Checking tire pressure the old way by hand-even if you did it everyday would not have saved that tire. Only a monitor like the Tymate would have saved it. I just purchased New Michelin Cross Climate 2 Tires and they are All Season Tires rated for Winter also. Very happy with these tires and I want to protect my investment.
