This torch is such good value for money; sturdy but light and it has a powerful beam. The option of a down light is very useful.

Smaller and lighter than I anticipated, but very powerful. The carrying handle is small for a man’s hand, but I can adjust to it. ‘Torch mode’ seems odd, with a very bright spot at the centre of the beam, whereas the ‘lamp mode’ provides a uniform illumination, as if one is carrying a space-age candle. The device charges slowly via a USB lead, so you will need an output supply of that format. Keep it charged for power outages, and you will have your own little sun at hand. Overall, good value.

Does the job! Would recommend. Good quality bought 3 times! That’s how good it’s use it most nights and in the winter. Keep one for emergencies

Good strong light and easy to charge

This torch is smaller than advertised. The specified length is 190mm but actual length is 155mm. The specified height is 148mm but actual height is 115mm. The specified diameter of front of torch is 95mm but actual is 88mm. On the plus side the torch does appear to be bright enough. As I have just received this I cannot comment on repeatability or longevity. Nice and light so fingers crossed.

Bought to replace my old "Dial" hand lamp which had expired after 10 years. I really like this lamp as it feels solidly made and has both a search light and work light option. I use it regularly to navigate around a Country Park at night and appreciate the pure white search light which also has a good range of about 100yds. The work light is bright enough to allow work under the bonnet of a car at night or in a small room during a power cut. How long it will remain lit for I have not fully tested but I have used the work light for three hours continuously with no issues. Recharging time is up to five hours but it has always been quicker than that, bearing in mind that it is new and I recharge using mains power and a 5volt 1Amp output plug. No real niggles to report so far. I am thinking of buying another to keep in the truck.
