I'm Only Wicked with You: The Palace of Rogues

I like the other books in this series, but this one left a lot to be desired in my opinion. It's basically about a woman who is tired of being told she's beautiful and a man who wants this beautiful woman but feels like he can't have her. It's a long drawn out story about essentially nothing.

Witty, laugh out loud prose that leaves you anticipating the next story in the series or ready to start it all over from the beginning! If you haven't read Julie Anne Long's series you are in for a treat! I do recommend reading when you have plenty of free time because her books are impossible to put down!

I enjoyed Hugh and Lillias' story. Was definitely a slow moving romance but did end in a hea. I'm looking forward to the next book

Thank you to Julie Anne Long for writing a heartfelt romance that made me laugh, cry and my chest ache with emotion. Her descriptions and word choice to describe the human condition and feelings are my favorite amongst all my favorite authors. I cannot wait for November and her next book!
