Worth the money.
It was a perfect fit for both my scopes. It fits nicely on my Orion 8 inch Newtonian weighing in at fifteen pounds.

Needs mounting hole dimensions. Soft material
I bought this to let me adapt a Meade 323 ring mount to a rail on a Celestron AstroMaster tripod. This rail has two mounting screw holes in the center, probably about M7, and spaced too closely for the Meade bolts, which are M8-1.25. Never mind, I have a drill press and taps. Be aware, if you wish to add your own holes, the aluminum alloy on this rail machines about like chewing gum. Use cutting fluid and back the tap out frequently. A rail like this should have dimensions and screw hole sizes in the description.
