The manufacturer states that it is for use with any 175 PSI max air compressor. Technically, it is rated at 26 FLA (full-load amperage) for and 156 LRA (locked rotor amps) for both 120V and 240V, 10-18 gauge, one wire per terminal only. I hope that helps you.

I put the switch on the compressor and pressure didn't cut off at 155,is there away to swap switches or make that work?

the screw inside the spring adjusts pressure cut off point (in = More psi, out = Less psi) , make sure wiring is correct or you could be bypassing the switch itself

Is this a direct bolt in for a Chicago Pneumatic rcp226vp ?
