The Bible Knowledge Commentary (Old Testament:)

I heard about this commentary from a youtuber who does Bible studies online and she recommended it. I bought the one for the new and old testaments and I am enjoying it very much. It is packed full of information and I read it almost every day.

Great commentary

I'm absolutely satisfied with my purchase of this bible I look forward to using it to grow in my knowledge in gods word and teachings. It's very helpful and easy to read and it breaks down how to truly study the bible it has walk throughs, examples on how to study the bible precept upon precept. You can write in this bible and do your own observation worksheets chapter themes ect. I highly recommend this bible for anyone who truly wants to get more from gods word no matter how new you are to being a Christian and no matter your age and no matter how new you are to studying gods word. I use several commentaries each week. Some are new, and some are older. This one is among my favorites. It is easy to understand, gives in depth knowledge without becoming bogged down, and is well written. This is a great commentary for anyone looking to learn more about the scriptures and get a different perspective. I have purchased this commentary set, OT and NT, and given these to students and ministers as a way to help them expand their horizons. Definitely recommend.

So far we are liking it very much. We had a big set and it is just to much when in study and you have a question on a verse. I don't want to read another book, I just want to see if I am on the right track and others views. It tells you a lot but not tooooo much. Just always pray before you read your bible for God to let his message known to you, and please don't just take MANS view. I think for study this is wonderful as the study bibles never seem to give you enough. The huge commentary sets give you to much and this is just right :).

This commentary was written some years ago. That being said, it answers questions I have better than one written more recent. It also explains the answers better than a lot. It would have got five stars were the print a little larger. Small print.

This is an absolute wonderful commentary with so much to add to your daily bible study, but not so much as to be overwhelming or over the heads of the standard user
