Really happy with this, and would 100% recommend. Only small downside is that the gaps on the timer dials are so small (with one hour intervals) that it’s hard to get the timing exactly right, and I often find the trays open up to half an hour either side of what I wanted. I would have preferred a 24 hour timer with larger gaps, but it’s not big issue for me, and for me the benefits far outweigh this slight negative. If you need meals at exact times this might not be for you, but with some flexibility this is great. Because my cat is greedy, I feed him several small meals a day, and he gets a combination of dry and wet food. If you are not going to be home all day, this is ideal for giving a couple of wet food meals when you are not in. I’ve set the timer up to 8 hours with the ice pack and it was totally fine (this was not in hot weather). It’s also great for when I am away as I can have a cat sitter come once a day and kitty can still get three wet food meals each day. The feeder is also very simple to operate so your cat sitter doesn’t need to be technically savvy to use it. I also have another digital feeder with exact timing and WiFi connection for anytime remote feeding, but it’s only for dry food, and hard to set up and operate for those without any technical know-how, I find the combination of the two works really well.

Or as I call it, The Magical Mealtime Machine! 🎉 Okay, so sometimes my hooman goes away for like... forever (he says it’s “two days,” but I don’t know how clocks work and it feels like A LIFETIME). I used to be left all alone with just the sofa, and a crunchy food bowl that got boring super fast, okay well there is the water fountain and the jungle garden with mousey snacks on demand! But now? GUESS WHAT? This amazing little spaceship thing gives me meals like clockwork! TWO of them! One for now, and one for later — it’s like a snacky surprise party that opens itself. I don’t even have to meow dramatically or nibble my hooman's foot to get attention! How it works (from a very smart cat’s perspective): It has these lid thingies that stay closed until - POP! - they flip open when the little spinny timer says it’s chow o’clock! There’s even a spot for a cold pack to keep my food all fresh and yummy. Fancy, huh? 🐾 Perks for a princess like me: • Breakfast and dinner when my hooman’s not here. • I don’t have to worry or panic or meow until I’m hoarse. • It’s super quiet so it doesn’t scare me when it opens - just a little click and tada, it’s CHOW TIME! Bonus? There’s even a spot for an ice pack underneath to keep the food fresh. I don’t fully understand refrigeration (I’m a cat, not a physicist), but I appreciate the commitment to quality cuisine. The only tiny problem is... I can’t open it early, even when I tap it, nudge it, or roll on it dramatically. Trust me, I’ve tried. BUT I guess that means I don’t accidentally eat both meals in one go (whoopsies...). Final verdict? If you’re a fancy feline who enjoys being pampered and well-fed (and I mean, who isn’t?), then you’ll LOVE the Cat Mate C200. It’s like having a tiny robot food butler who never forgets you - yes I'm talking to YOU hooman?! Now excuse me - I think I heard the click. Product as described and works fine. Nice and simple to use. Picked it up with the lid not closed properly and the whole lid detached but it was easy to click back into place. Nice and easy to wash trays. Only downside is that the timer (a basic clock mechanism) keeps running so that if you put it in a drawer and don't use it for a few days the lids pop open inside the drawer which can make it awkward to get out! Could do with an off switch rather than having to keep taking the batteries out.

Does the most important job. My cat no longer wakes us up at 5am. Worth every penny

We have had this cat bowl for a few weeks now. We recently acquired a cat and he doesn’t really like other people so its been difficult to go away. I have used this device twice for wet food when we have gone away. It seems to keep the food nice and fresh when you use the ice pack. The time allows you to set an opening time anything up to 48 hours later. It works without any particular problem and is easy to use (just adjust the dial for the amount of hours you want it to delay opening for). You can set a different timer for each bowl which has been a godsend for overnight trips The height of the bowl is perfect for our average sized cat, it comes with feet if you want to prop it up higher. The only thing i would say is the individual cat bowls are not made of the thickest plastic but they seem durable enough for what they are. Overall i would say i am very impressed with this product. I would recommend it to anyone who needs an automatic cat feeder. We have used this specifically for when we are away as opposed to daily feed but i’m sure that would work fine to. Given there are many more expensive models on the market i think this product is good value for money and does everything we need it to.

Great for the price, feeds the cat. It has analog looking dials to set the delay, they go up to 48 hours. it's hard to be super precise, but easy to get it to release food within an hour. Unlike another automatic feeder we bought, this one does not beep, so it's great for the 5:30 AM feeding

Does exactly what it says, my cat seems very pleased. I only use it if i think I'm going to be late home, and have found it easy to set up, clean. I consider it to be value for money.

I got this so I could sleep in or leave the house for a day without my cat going hungry. While the timers are a bit imprecise and occasionally open earlier or later than expected, it works otherwise. However, the design is not cat-proof if you have a determined and food-driven cat. Apart from the deep scratches and bite marks all over the plastic, evidence of my cat’s determination, she has also succeeded in flipping it over multiple times, as it’s too lightweight. The compartments will not open if it’s lying the wrong way up. The timers are also too accessible. In her attempts to open it, she has nudged and changed them, either opening it early or setting it to open much later. I have tried wedging it between furniture and putting heavy books on one of the compartments, but so far, all that’s doing is providing the cat with more mental stimulation and physical exercise in trying to get to it. I’m now thinking of investing in one of the round automatic feeders with a digital timer, where I can cover the timer and which I should be able to weigh down better.

I actually thought it was faulty when I got it, but it turns out there’s just a knack to using it. When closing the lid you need to very *lightly* hold it down with your finger tip (do NOT push at all, don’t use any force, and don’t let it “click”, it needs to just be resting almost). While gently holding it with a finger tip, use your other hand to turn the dial, and it locks into place once the time is off the 0. It will definitely open on your set time when you use this method. If you force it (even slightly) it will not open. Once I figured that out, pretty happy with the product!

Simple to use, tricky to see if the battery is making the dial move but after a test run you know it does but a great option for over night or weekend trips away

No problem with this product. Easy to use and it opens automatically when the timer clicks around to the desired time setting. I use it on a weekly basis and definitely recommend it.
