I've read another Dale Carnegie book and wanted to continue. I am glad I read THE 5 ESSENTIAL PEOPLE SKILLS: HOW TO ASSERT YOURSELF, LISTEN TO OTHERS, AND RESOLVE CONFLICTS. I was also happy to see this version has been updated to a contemporary version rather than the original. Carnegie and the author who updated the original tap into what is important in having people skills: communication. The lessons in this book gives readers the confidence to negotiate their business lives with others, whether in management or a colleague. The people skills will also help you in your personal relationships. I can't wait to read other books in this series. #CillasBookManiacs

Great book, I recommend to anyone and everyone, no matter what career you're involved in. Great as a gift for yourself or anyone else.
