Cute Thanksgiving book!

Got this for my nephew, who loves Pete the Cat, and we loved it. Pete is such a great story for all ages!

I sent this book in a care package to my 5 year old grandson. He loved it!

I didn’t expect this to have lift the flaps (my fault for not looking more closely). The flaps were also hard to lift/fold cleanly, some sloppy gluing, and some of the flaps were lifting up where they should’ve been glued. It’s also paperback when my other Pete books are hardcovers. Again my fault. Decent story but the physical book will not stand the test of time (my young kids).

My 5yrs. old grandson loves these Pete the Cat books! My daughter wanted to teach him about Thanksgiving. This book has colorful pictures and fun drawings but at the same time presents the information in an interesting format for kids. He will gain a better understanding of what Thanksgiving is about and then this holiday will mean more to him. Amazon has a Thanksgiving Activities Book that I gave him along with this one which will enforce the Story of Thanksgiving. Learning to be thankful is important for kids to know. This is a fun way to get them thinking.

Good history lesson for children, who aren’t being taught about the friendship between the Pilgrims & the Indians. 🙂👍
