25" L x 12" W x 7" H Acrylic Display Case for 1:8 Scale Pocher Testarossa and Model Cars Black Frame

I got this to display a plastic model and it works just fine for that. I liked how the acrylic top comes apart so it will ship flat. However, I'd like a way to more permanently join the acrylic parts after you receive it. The sides fit together with tabs which work ok. But, the top just rests on top of the sides. I has some key ways (not sure how better to describe them) cut in the top and sides that interlock so you can't see the joint once together. But the top can easily be dislodged as your moving the acrylic part. It makes putting it on and taking it off a delicate affair. It's a nice case and it looks very good once it's assembled and everything is placed where it will ultimately rest. It's just the getting to that point that I wasn't thrilled with.At some point I'll probably do something to make the bottom look like a moon scape. I like the case but the model doesn't look great sitting on a bare piece of wood.

The base should be finished with a clear mat .I like laser cut of panels
