We love these folders. They are strong and last the whole school year. Some of them we have been able to use for more than 1 school year.

These are really the best for school supplies. Are there cheaper options available: Yes. Do the cheaper options hold up to the daily rigors of a high school boy: No. If I don't have to repurchase them then they are the cheaper option. I've even handed some down from my delicate daughter to my son. Ok, not something I'm going to pass down in my will, but definitely multiple years of usage. ;)

My boys are in college now, but we have used Five Star brand for folders for years. Very durable!

My son usually goes through several folders during the school year, but the 5-star folder is the best. It is very durable and last.

The folders are great, but I chose to purchase this pack because it was sold with 4 different colors. I will use them for school, and having 4 in the same color complicates everything.
