As with any type of flask make sure you heat up first with hot water and leave it to stand for a few minutes but brilliant size and it keeps the food warm only tested it for about eight hours but it was still warm.

Good product but the grey outside has peeled off a lot after being washed in hot soapy water looks tatty now

The flask feels very sturdy and and stable. It seems it would quite happily absorb the usual knocks and bumps when in a rucksack or bag.Tried using it for soup. Following the manufacturers instructions, I preheated it with boiling water before replacing the water with Heinz chunky soup. The soup was still nice and hot after 2-3 hours, when I went to eat it.I used the lid to hold the soup and the supplied spoon. Looks less uncouth drinking soup from a mug than a bowl!The inner lid contains the folding spoon. This worked well, although I do wonder if the joints will loosen with use and possibly go a little 'floppy'. For cleaning out, there is a useful brush that is easy to get inside and clean the sides properly. It coped with my soup very well, although I do wonder if it will discolour dealing with tomato or other coloured soups, as these have a tendency to stain/discolour many things. The ability to obtain replacements would be useful to counteract this possible issue.I could see these being useful for porridge, casseroles, soup and stew, in fact any thick or runny liquid that you want to transport and keep hot. The lid prevent leakage and worked well with my usual test of hot water and lots of shaking.The outside of the flask is easy to keep clean, damp cloth seems to remove anything that gets onto it. The stainless steel construction means it is robust and should take and knocks or drops for years to come.

In terms of material quality it looks pretty decent, I bought it in gray/dark and looks nice.I'm not gonna make this one too long, just straight to the point everyone needs to know: it holds the temperature for long enough for its intended use, if you're planning on taking it to work or elsewhere and like to keep some warm tea or coffee it will easily go over 3 hours and still be warm enough to drink comfortably .I have not tested with cold drinks as the ambient is cold and i feel would not be accurate, on the other hand it has proven to hold hot temperature when the weather is cold.The extra in this one is the foldable spoon, its a nice touch, for the ones that wanna have their soup or other food in it too.And lastly the brush to clean it, nice detail, wished at least 2 of them were includedOverall 5/5, only time will tell if its quality will endure in terms of holding the temperature.
