Works Great.

I have had these strainers for well over a year now and absolutely love them. I make various herbal teas and flavored coffees. These strainers are perfect for getting out all the sediment that's ok to drink, but who wants to? I love these - and in fact have purchased two for when I travel ( I often make two different drinks at one time, thus the reason for two of them).

Update: Had to remove a star b/c it keeps breaking apart. Although it filters good, after about 3-4 uses, I can no longer use it b/c the filter keeps separating from the handle. For only 4 bucks, I'm not terribly disappointed b/c it filtered pretty well, just wish I could've used it a little bit longer Good filter. Filters pretty much all the pulp out of the juice. It came apart once though but it was easy to put back together. Will use it for my teas. I need something a little larger for my juices that I can hand squeeze like cheesecloth.

Good strainer. Bought the 400 micron mesh filter. Now I am able to enjoy my homemade soy milk that I make without the sandy grainy texture that my soy milk maker creates when grinding the soy beans. It’s a good value for the money and not expensive at all. Would buy again if it breaks or gets torn.

It's 2 plastic rings and a cloth in between. While cleaning it all fell apart and there's no easy way to put it back together. Didn't even last 1 month. Return window passed. Waste of money. Do not buy.

In my opinion, this should not be advertised for kefir. At least for me, it did not work - the kefir was too thick to be strained. I can see how I'll use this for other purposes, so will keep it. I just wish it wasn't labeled in such a way that it would pop up in searches for kefir strainers.

Great Strainer. Very fine mesh - like coffee filter fine. But sturdier. The 2 pieces holding the mesh snap apart so it can all be cleaned. It is not the strongest in terms of the handle. But perfect for normal use. And good value for the quality.

I wanted this for straining cold brew coffee. It works very well, leaving only the barest hint of coffee 'dust'. I do wish it was a bit wider, but it's not a problem. This is the 400 mesh.
