I like this guide
i like it. Of course, it is a bit outdated, but a lot of it can still apply today in the current C++ video studio. (i am using video studio 2019) Been a few years since doing C++ so i bought this book to help bring back the basics.

The Best C++ Book Out Of Several That I Have Read
As a moderately experienced C and C++ programmer, I have been looking for a book to use as a reference and to extend my knowledge of C++ and this has done well. This has lots of examples and a lot of detail about many of the parts of programming (functions, loops, making decisions, etc etc). I have learned a lot from this book (and I read the Second Edition in a university library) as it explained why what I have been doing works and gives me alternatives. I learned how to use pointers better for instance. One criticism is that the book is NOT clear about a fundamental thing that programs do - write text to a file. It is covered on page 216 but it is not as clear as needed. I figured it out but the one example is not sufficient. My book has about 10 notes in pencil that I added to the three lines that show how to do this.

Recomendo a compra.

A good book on C++ for beginners
This book is a good introduction to C++ and it is easy to follow. Examples in the book are well explained and the author takes the reader through interesting examples with code snippets. However, there remain some miscellaneous errors through the book (as shown in the pictures) and you can see, a line of code says "supports time function" while the same line of code says "supports ctime function". The difference is "c". This seems to be insignificant but if minor errors can be fixed, this book will be an excellent tutorial for beginners.
