Great variety of black truss head screw sizes — so it was incredibly unfortunate to find out how weak these are. After 3 in a row broke while screwing into pine (a soft wood and I was screwing in by hand), I had to return them because I could not risk more breaking in the wood.

Soft metal used in these screws. The threads stripped when screwing into sheet metal. They did fine going into plastic.

Nice little set.

Tried several screws that broke upon tightening. Other screws, the hex was stripped, so I could not use a screw-driver. I threw them in the trash.

The multiple sizes were exactly what I was looking for - saved back and forth trips to the hardware store.
