This is a extreme heating pad it heats up fast and works on my entire back
I don’t dislike it. If I could change something it would the wires that heat it up. They are a bit bulky. With that being said I love the product

Best heating pad
I have been using the Thermophore heating pads for years. It's moist heat without having to use a damp sponge is wonderful on my back. I get the full body size for my back and hips. It really provides relief allowing me to lay down and relax.

Moist Thermophore heating pad.
The heating control unit was a “Deadman switch. This requires the switch to be held in the on position all the time. I thought that the unit had the 3 intensity: low; medium and; high as my other Thermophore dry heating pad has. Was disappointed with this moist unit. Am returning the new unit.

This Heating Pad is different because it draws Moisture from the Air and Supplies it to the Heating Pad. It is the Best. I’ve used this Type on my back since 1996. This is Just my Third. It’s Great because the Moist Heat helps to gently loosen your muscles, so it can help to relieve your back pain. I got the large and have used the earlier ones on my Shoulders, both Knees, hands & wrist from time to time, since it’s large enough to handle any body area and I will continue to use one ,which this one seems even Better to me. I have been a thermophore fan for at least 20 years high quality just don't bend metal pieces inside too much or you will get hot spots. You can usually bend them back.

Relief at home for sciatica.
I developed sciatica around 6 months ago. I began physical therapy 2 months ago. The physical therapy has helped reduce my discomfort. The application of moist heating pads at therpy sessions has also helped. I decided to get my own heating pad for home use & this pad was my choice after doing a fair amount of research. It works great & has the ability to add a damp cloth into it if your house humidity is low due to heating or air conditioning. The manual switch was my choice so in the event that I fall asleep while using the heating pad it will turn off immediately.
