Q: How well does this work for starters and does it also work for re-twists?

To me, this works better on re-twist than starter locs. Comb coil or palm rolling, either way its effective.

Q: When retwisting hair does it cause build up ? And does it leave a shine to your hair ?

Re-twisting my hair with this product does not cause any build up. It does leave my hair soft and with a shine but I find myself using it as a moisturizer at least once or twice a week. The other products that I have used that leave more of a shine has more build up.

Q: Is this product good for a white man with baby locs?

All of Lion Locs products are vegan, natural, and organic and work on all hair. Depending on lock maturity and use varies how well it work on 1 and 2 hair types. Lion Locs is also working on a wax gel strictly for locking 1 and 2 hair.

Q: Can I use this to retwist my husband’s wick locs?

No. This product is for lighter locs. I know wick locs are thick and the hold is not strong enough if you’re palm rolling or interlocking
