Nice set, exactly what I was looking for, just a bit expensive since these lids can cost less than a dollar at other stores, but I couldn't find them anywhere. The set comes with only 4 lids and 4 straws and it is from Luminarc.

MANY years ago, I discovered this kind of glass (this company calls it a "Working" glass) at Crate and Barrel and it quickly became my favorite. It holds about 12 ounces of liquid, with ice. It's sturdy and nicely shaped. And it just feels good to hold.They last forever. The only downside--and maybe this is true of all glasses, I don't know--but they tend to get "etched" by too many dishwashings over time. That is, they lose their clear glass look and become foggy with many runs through the dishwasher.I'm not saying THIS brand does that. They're too new to know. But when guests come over, I give them the nice glasses--these new ones--and I take the funky, etched ones.Bottom line, I enjoyed getting these old friends and am pleased with this purchase.

The straws are thicker plastic with the ring on the bottom so they can't be pulled out of the cup (perfect for kids!)They are the long straws so they are a tad tall for the shorter cups that my children use. Wish they had an option for shorter straws as well, but we are pleased with the set overall (kids don't seem to mind the longer straw) Lids fit perfectly on the working glass glasses we own & are a durable plastic. Very happy with this purchase!
