Overall this is a great summer hat and it has become one of my favorites to wear. Being able to adjust it to your head size is great. You can wear it a little loose on those really hot days and tighten it up on a windy day. There are few things that have made this a winner for me. First, it breaths and it’s light weight. Some synthetic fabrics trap in moisture and heat but this one doesn’t do that. Also, those that don’t breath just make you sweat more and all that sweat runs down your face. That’s not the case with this fabric. Second, the brim is a little stiff so it can be shaped the way you like it to a point. It’s a floppy hat with no wire in the brim. With that slight stiffness when I snap it up on the side the brim rolls out a bit so my ears are covered. Also, the brim holds it shape in a strong breeze, with the sides snapped up, but the hat doesn’t become a sail. I have some wide brim hats that the least little breeze wants to blow off bit this one holds on really well. Finally, the crown isn’t too large. I don’t have a large head so some hats with large crowns make me look like Elmore Fudd but this doesn’t. It’s a great sun hat for the really hot muggy days, wear it in the pool or pack it away easily when needed.

Bought this for my landscaping job over the summer. It blocked my face well, but it didn’t cover my neck fully but that’s okay. It’s lightweight, breathable, and comfortable. I would get it drenched in sweat and covered in dust every day while mowing and weed-whacking, but it cleaned well in the wash (however it did become more floppy and less sturdy after washing a couple times, didn’t bother me). I bought a second one so i could rotate throughout the week. Fit was perfect for me, i’ve got a big head and it didn’t need much adjusting, although it has the adjustments you need to make it fit for sure. The chin strap was a little long and would get caught on the mower throttle bars when i’d duck down to get under trees, which was annoying but i could’ve fixed it by tucking it in my shirt or something. it’s proved durable for me

I love that it's a good fit. It was reasonably priced. It's purple, my favorite color. Hat hair, don't care!!!! It protects your face from the sun well! I usually use an umbrella.

This hat would have been ok, but unfortunately they folded the hat before putting it in the mailing envelope, and it appears to have had something heavy put on top. This left a permanent crease in the brim. Instead of the hat looking like the photos on Amazon, it actually has a wavy brim and looks a little silly when wearing it. This has happened to other customers, according to their reviews, and I'm surprised that Amazon continues to send them this way. Even though a box seems like overkill for something the size of a record album, it's necessary. The quality of the hat (especially the polyester material) is barely acceptable, but for the price it would be ok. I ordered this hat and a similar style on the same day. They were delivered on different days by different carriers but the result was the same (a bent, creased brim). Unfortunately I have to return both of them.

It fits and keeps the sun off my head. Just what I needed

I purchased this because of the color selection. I had a similar hat that I purchased at the local Sam’s Club and I love that hat because when I’m outside it keeps my head cool, the mesh and all of that are very similar. I purchased this in the purple because I needed the purple color to match the swag for my son’s wrestling team and cross country teams. I live in Florida, so I tend to spend a lot of time outside and I usually like to have a hat because the sun is very bright and not great for skin and I’m fair skinned. This does the job beautifully for me. I have a larger head with thick hair and it fits well and allows me to adjust and I liked the first one so much that I bought a second one in the rose red color. I haven’t received it yet. I’m hoping it is something close to pink because I’m gonna wear it for the breast cancer walk next weekend but it doesn’t have to be a perfect match. I can still bedazzle it up a little bit for the event.

I bought one for my husband because we are going on a trip. This will be easy to fit in the suit case. And the rim is wide enough to shield off the sun. My in law saw it and he got one too.

I must have ordered and returned about 10 hats, and I was losing the will until this one arrived. Used for golfing, and walking the dogs, and general use to keep the sun off my head. I've very little hair, and shave what's left every other day. In these situations men have to be very careful about getting too much sun on their skin. I've had one small/minor cancer scare because of years of the sun on my head and I do not want another. Factor 50 for me when the suns out, and this hat on top as well. I used to just wear your typical golf cap but it did not offer enough protection no matter how cool it looked! Always a gap at the sides and back and no neck/ear coverage at all. This hat deals with all that and more.This hat is super-light, but doesn't blow off due to the fit and the tie under the chin. Seems also water resistant as it's kept me dry in several showers on the golf course (Scotland!). It is adjustable to tighten and that works very well and in an unobtrusive way. Decent size brim offers excellent protection all round. Brim is just right; not floppy but not rock hard either .I will get another for sure, 10 out of 10 from me.

Met expectations

The man was very pleased with this, and hopefully the site of the skin peeling off his nose each year will be a thing of the past!!!

Wish it was more waterproof and deeper for the head but standing up great so happy with the purchase. Nice brim depth. -not too wide.
