Good buy, sturdy, lightweight
These are really great. I hammered them into the ground about 8” and still have plenty to work with to hang trellis netting for climbing vines. Wear gloves if you need to trim them, these are fiberglass and small shards will get on your hands and possibly blow in your eyes if you’re not wearing proper protection when cutting them. Other than that, very easy to use and sturdy enough to hammer them into the hard clay ground with no damage to the stakes.

Wear gloves when you handle these
I used to use those stakes that were metal tubing coated in green plastic. They bend easily and eventually rusted off. These are very sturdy and won't rot or rust, BUT, handle them with gloves unless you want to get your hands full of tiny glass splinters.

Very impressed with Mr.Garden's garden stakes
I love these garden stakes and all of Mr. Garden's fiberglass stakes I have purchased over the past few years. They are much stronger than the plastic-coated thin-wall steel tubing that you find at lowesdepot. However, there is one thing you should be aware of when utilizing garden stakes made of fiberglass. If you bang the daylights out of them to get them deep into the ground (who doesn't) , they will leave microscopic shards of glass fiber at the point of contact. If you touch that area with your bare hands, you will feel an annoying itch for some time. I found that dabbing duct tape all over the affected skin helps to remove those shards.

Perfect…
These are perfect for my over growing bamboo plants that were falling over so bad that I thought I would loose them from the stress of the weight. I applied these with string and they are standing tall again. Easy to use and I didn’t have to cut or bend them….I didn’t even wear gloves but my hands were fine. Best of all they don’t bleed green and blend in perfectly with my plants. I brought 2 feet so for now they are good but if the plant grows more I will buy taller ones from this same supplier.

Greasy and tops are rough with micro splinters.
The stakes are black (not a problem for me) but a greasy black substance came off on my hands when I opened them and it was not easy to wipe off. The tops are not smooth and I got several micro splinters in my fingers before I noticed this problem. Inferior product, I would not buy again. Returning.

Flimsy construction
I purchased these for use as garden stakes to support tomato plants in our garden. These are not stiff enough for use as individual vertical support stakes. You must teepee them together and or find some other way to support them. Not practical for a container garden. Ended up purchasing larger diameter stakes for the verticals and tie rapped these horizontally to them to create a lattice network that will do the job.

Quality garden stakes. Wish they would offer the 1 foot size for indoor plants
These are nice, high quality stakes. I wish they would offer a one foot size for use with indoor plants.

Great price
Great price for package of 50 garden stakes. The plastic packaging wrap was torn on the end, but no damage to stakes and complete count.
