Does it come with a 9V battery? Will it drain the battery when turned off?

No, a 9V battery is not included. Tip: Remove the battery after each use. The unit may cause minor power drainage even when turned off, so removing it prevents dead batteries and extends battery life for your next job.

What is the exact measuring increment? Can it measure 4.75 oz precisely?

In ounce mode, it measures in increments of 0.2 oz (e.g. 4.8, not exactly 4.75). It offers great accuracy for standard HVAC & auto A/C charging, but keep this 0.2 oz step in mind for extreme micro-measurements.

How do I correctly use the Auto-Zero/Tare function to charge my AC system?

1. Place the full refrigerant tank on the scale. 2. Press ZERO (display reads 0). 3. Open the valve to start charging. 4. The scale will accurately show the exact weight of the dispensed refrigerant as a negative number.

What should I do if the weight readings fluctuate or seem unstable?

If the "Stable" icon keeps flashing, the platform is unsteady. For accurate readings, place the scale on a flat, level surface (avoid uneven ground/high winds) and center the tank on the rubber pad.

What measurement units does this scale support, and is it easy to switch?

It supports multiple units including kg, lbs, oz, kg & g, and lbs & oz. You can instantly toggle between these modes using the unit button, making it highly versatile for both US standard and metric HVAC requirements.
